GoTrak™ Tracking Technology
Tracking & Order Technology
We’ve spent the past two years tirelessly testing and tweaking our proprietary order and delivery tracking technology, GoTrak™. Developed entirely in-house, the platform was extensively beta-tested to ensure it efficiently addressed all of your core delivery needs. Through custom logins, GoTrak™ provides Clients and dispatch staff with real-time package tracking, online scheduling and delivery status updates (GoTrak™ Delivery Confirmed™), and custom alerts. It’s our unique way of taking the worry out of same-day delivery.
Using GoTrak™, our customers can easily login to a web interface and see exactly where their packages are, current trajectory and travel history, vehicle speed, package temperature, and level of light exposure. Or they can schedule a new delivery all together. Standard alerts notify Clients when a package has been picked up, is in transit, and has been successfully delivered. Custom alerts can notify customers of everything from fluctuations in package temperature to unexpected package movement.
Real-Time Package Tracking
Utilizing self-powered GPS trackers placed either individually in packages, sporadically throughout a related shipment, or within courier satchels and vehicles, Customers can track the exact location of their shipment at any given time. When GPS signals are unavailable, our tracking devices automatically default to the cellular network, and relay their positions through the closest cell tower.
For on-going engagements in which packages can only be breached by approved handlers at the shipping origin and delivery points, we utilize a strategy of tracking redundancy, picking up tracking devices from previous shipments with each successive delivery. To achieve this, we assign triple the devices necessary to complete a single route rotation, or three days worth of tracking, for each Client. If needed, disposable tracking devices are available, which can be discarded after each shipment. For international deliveries, satellite tracking keeps tabs on package movement.
GoTrak™ Delivery Confirmed™
Delivery Confirmed was designed to allow our customers to quickly check-up on delivery status. Through a secure web interface, GoTrak™ Delivery Confirmed™ enables customers to schedule new orders and check the delivery phase of existing orders. Thanks to the use of handheld barcode scanners, users will know within seconds whether their package has been picked up, is in transit, or has been successfully delivered.
Order verifications, assigned tracking numbers, and delivery confirmations, available both online and through email, allow our customers to easily place new orders and track the status of their existing deliveries. Every one of our messengers and couriers carries an additional GPS-enabled cellular device that updates package and delivery locations continuously. With Delivery Confirmed™ tracking we keep an eye on your deliveries every step of the way and so can you.
Custom Alerts
GoTrak™ technology allows us to set up custom user alerts depending on Client criteria. For example, a pharmaceutical company interested in shipping product from North Jersey to Boston could embed their shipment with our global positioning devices. USPack staff would calibrate GoTrak™ to send warnings in the event of any anomalous activity. Warnings can be sent via Phone, Email, and SMS, and can include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Geo-Fencing
Geo-fencing allows us to set preexisting geographic parameters, and issue warnings to Clients and dispatchers if any transport vehicles exit the predetermined delivery path. GoTrak™ can alert Clients every time a vehicle enters or exits a pick-up or drop-off point, or veers off a predetermined shipping path.
- Temperature Tracking
Our technology includes real time temperature monitoring and reporting and can notify Clients of excess variation in cargo temperature, or if packages have reached a temperature outsider of their acceptable climate range.
- Light Sensitivity
The GoTrak™ platform includes light sensing capabilities. If there is a major variation in lighting while the cargo is in transit, chances are the cargo has been breached. Light sensitivity settings can be adjusted if a certain amount of light is not allowed into a sealed cargopoint, and deliver warnings accordingly.
